Intelicode 15 - Coming very Soon

Plan now for Intelicode 15!  Intelicode 15 will require an SQL Server backend.  If you are currently using an SQL Server, no changes will be required.  If you are using a local database, you will need to install SQL Server as support for SQL Server Compact Edition (CE) is being retired.  Microsoft SQL Server Express is a free product and will work perfectly for this requirement.  Detailed instructions will be available on our Support page on our website very soon for those organizations who have an IT department to assist them.  For those who don't, please call us for assistance.  It is highly recommended before doing anything that you back up your Intelicode database(s) so no data is lost in this process!

Coder in Review
We are proud to Introduce you to:

Lesa lives in Toledo, Illinois and has been married to her husband, Todd, for 28 years.  Todd and Lesa have quite the houseful.  With 3 grown boys, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 Golden Doodle and 3 cats; family time is very enjoyable for Lesa.  Her 3 sons play college football; which is one of Lesa’s favorite pass-times!  She enjoys visiting new places, also.
Lesa attended a 2-year Junior College, in Mattoon, Illinois and graduated.  Lesa has been in the medical field for 26 years and has been a coder/auditor for the last 15.  She has worked as a CNA, Medical Assistant, Office Manager, and a Trainer.  For the last 2 years, she has been a Professional Fee Medical Coder at her current employer.  She loves the medical field but really didn’t want to be a Doctor or Nurse.  She truly enjoyed the challenge of coding, which is why she made the switch.  She really loves the ability to work from home and the flexibility of coding.  She has been CHAP certified for 7 years and CPC certified for 8 years.
When asked what her biggest coding nightmare is, Lesa replied; “having several different specialties following a patient and getting the services paid”.  An example of this would be:  A Cardiology patient might have a CHF, arrhythmia and congenital cardiology specialist all following them.
Lesa’s biggest accomplishment is being a cancer SURVIVOR!  She beat breast cancer 9 years ago and still remains cancer FREE!  That is FANTASTIC NEWS!  We are so proud to feature Lesa and wish her the best in her career and in all of her adventures.
